Large Hand of Hamsa Block Stamp
Large Hand of Hamsa Block Stamp
Hand carved wooden textile stamp block from India. There is a small crack on the face of the hand crafted wooden stamp. This shouldn't affect the design too much when used. It may not be noticeable when the stamp is used but if the crack shows up when the design is printed you should be able to hand paint that printed portion if there is a gap.
They are traditionally used to print on textiles.
Does not work well with normal stamp pads. It's best to use with liquid paints such as acrylic or fabric paint. Best method of getting a clear print is to apply paint to a sponge and tap the paint on the stamp.
They can also be used for stamping or printing on paper, fabrics, clay, mixed media projects, scrapbooking and more.
Clean and dry thoroughly after use.
