Wholesale FAQ

We appreciate your interest in opening an account with us! Please take a moment to review the following information. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us.

Please note that all prices displayed on our website include Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T).

When placing an order, shipping costs are not included in the total. We will calculate the shipping cost and include it in the invoice, which will be sent to you via email for payment.


Who is eligible to open a wholesale account?

We welcome various types of businesses to apply for a wholesale account, including retail stores, online stores, home-based businesses, and market sellers. As long as you meet our minimum order requirements, you are eligible to apply. Initially, a regular account will be opened for you upon application. Once your application is approved, we will switch your account to wholesale status so that you can access wholesale pricing.


What if I already have a regular account?

Contact us and we can switch your account to wholesale. Your login and password will remain the same. 


What is the minimum order requirement?

Our minimum order requirement is a spend of $150 including GST per order. All prices shown on the website are GST inclusive. There are no minimum order quantity requirements. As long as you meet the $150 order threshold, you can place an order.


Wholesale Login

After your approval, please access the login portal as usual. Our system will automatically recognize you as a wholesale customer, enabling you to view discounted pricing displayed alongside the crossed out full price. Please note that you may need to refresh the website a few times to clear the cache and see the updated prices.

If you are unable to meet the minimum order requirement but still wish to place a small order at regular pricing, we kindly ask you to create another account using a different email address or email us with your order.


Are all of the products on your website wholesale?

No, not all of the products on our website are wholesale. Our main wholesale products are jewellery making supplies, wine holders, ornaments and Turkish lamps. However, we do offer discounts to our wholesale customers for non-wholesale products. Depending on the item, wholesale customers can still enjoy discounts of up to 30% off the regular retail price.


I'm trying to checkout but a message says unable to ship to my address.

Oops that shouldn't be happening! Please let us know if this happens to you and even better if you can send us a screenshot of the items in your cart.


Has my order been placed? I haven't received an email.

Yes, when you place a wholesale order it is treated as a draft order. You won't receive any confirmation email  or order information in your customer account until we have processed it and calculated shipping. This may take up to one working day. Feel free to email us if you would like to check if your order has been received.


How do I pay for my wholesale order?

Once your order has been processed, shipping costs will be calculated and added to your invoice. You will be sent an email with a link to review your order and complete payment. You will be able to add your delivery address or select pick up if collecting in store. Proceed to payment where you can choose to pay by eftpos/credit card or bank deposit.

After a period of time where you have placed a few orders with us, we will send through a credit application form if you wish to change your account to a "20th of the month" credit account. 


What if an item/s arrives damaged?

Please check all items when they arrive. If an item is damaged, please take a photo and send us an email at info@artisanboutique.co.nz


Can I pick up items from your store in Pukekohe?

Yes you can arrange to collect your items in store. Please leave a note requesting pick up and we will contact you when your order is ready. Our pick up address is 188 King Street, Pukekohe, Auckland.

Please place your order online and wait for our confirmation email confirming your items are ready for collection. Most of our wholesale items are stored in a separate location and may not be ready to collect the same day.


Can I purchase wholesale in your Pukekohe store? 

Yes you can view the items in our retail store and purchase them in store using your wholesale account. Not all of our online and wholesale items are kept in store. Please place an order online or contact us first if you need a particular item or choose from available stock in store.

The $150 minimum spend applies in store as well.
