This piece of Pounamu jewellery is made from a variety of greenstone known as Kawa Kawa. The boulder was sourced from the Haast area South Westland then sawn into thin slices in Carterton and shaped and made into earrings by local crafts people.
Size of Pounamu excluding earring hook is approx 25mm.
